Pyramid Evnets, Big Stackz Entertainment and Trap Panther TY hosted an amazing event at Level Up Studios free of charge. This event included catering from a local black owned business, Fireside Carribean Restaurant that had the entire room smelling ___? This event began with a “Meet the Plug” panel that included Kai Roberts (artist), George Fadale (Dreamz of Music Foundation) CPx3 (PGENT LLC) and Kool Kase (KK Management & Promotion). Island Bwoy, the mediator asked each panelists a list of questions pertaining to the music business overall and in the city of Pittsburgh’s music scence. This panel gave all the artists and entrepreneurs in the room the opportunity to gain insight on what is important when building your own brand such as networking, multiple forms of income and making sure you stay true to yourself. The PGEnt team was able to see a lot of familiar faces and connect with new artists and entrepreneurs in the city such as producers, fashion designers, photographers and more. This event was extremely successful and we feel as though bringing the art community together to network and collaborate is what the city of Pittsburgh needs to continue to grow. During this event, Tara Jackson was live on HotXXMag Online Radio and played local music for the eventgoers to vibe to. Following the event, she chose two performers to have their music played on her online radio show which were Damo Love and Juiced Up Joey. We look forward to what these businesses have in store for the next quarter of 2019.

2.3.19 | Trap Yoga x Brunch

“Trap Yoga x Brunch” was one of the first events that we have ever participated in that we showed up to on time to a full house. The Galaxy Lounge was filled as we entered with beautiful people conversing and laughing and listening to music from DJ Solo Dolo. Yoga mats were lined up from wall to wall with a room full of women ready to for this yoga experience. Camo Customz, Shawnecca Reed, Naomi Ritter, Fu, Lavish Skin by B, Napturally Beauty Supply and Awesome Edibles are just a few of the entrepreneurs who were in the building for this amazing event.  Coach Akeeme Robinson started the workout out with a 30 minute Glute Camp. This had to be the longest 30 minutes ever lol. Everyone was feeling the pain from this workout but it introduced some well-needed exercises that individuals can implement at home. Nea and Jess led the yoga portion of the event. As someone who usually does yoga from Youtube videos, it was inspiring to watch them do the different poses. Unfortunately, I had to tap out because my legs were so sore from going hard on the glutes workout. Once the workout ended, participants were eager to line up and taste the food catered by Los x Confluence Catering. Everyone gathered around and took pictures, shopped, enjoyed mimosas and conversed. For my first yoga event, I was extremely pleased and recommend this event to anyone who wants to get into yoga or is already experienced. It is a great opportunity to drink, eat and shop from a variety of black businesses in the city.

1.26.19 | Dream Board Party: What’s Your Vision?

As we entered the Freehand Craft Studio, I was satisfied to see such a nice and comforting venue. We were immediately greeted by Gabbi‘s smile and a room full of focused women working on their dream boards. We took off our coats and went straight back to check out the vendors, L’Styles Apparel and HauteCocoa who had merchandise available for purchase. When we returned to our seats, we had a plate of food waiting for us. After eating and getting comfortable, I began working on my dream board. I always wanted to create a visual board of my goals so it was a useful experience for me to see the different materials and photos that were used for some of the boards. To get the conversations flowing and everyone more acquainted, Gabbi began a “Beach Ball” icebreaker game. This game exposed the amount of women entrepreneurs in this city who specialize in beauty, fashion, entertainment and more. As I departed, I was given a gift bag that consisted items from Get Juicy by Nigeria, BlinkFly Lash Company and sex educator, Linnea Marie. This is just one of the many exclusive experiences that Gabbi plans to bring to this city, so make sure you check her out for future events throughout Pittsburgh.

“The Creative Playground” was the first Dreamz of Music Foundation event that we attended as a team. As we entered Level Up Studios, we saw many familiar faces and was greeted by George Fadale, Co-Founder of DOMF. We then found our table to set up our T-shirts and business cards to begin networking with the eventgoers and entrepreneurs in the room. Some of the other vendors included RapCave Studios, HotxxMagOnline Radio and GrindMode WorldWide. We got to listen to live performances from The Dreamerz (Eazy Duz It 412, The Vendetta, Kelly Jones, Vic Venom, E Betts, The Foot Prophet), Sirron Reid, Abstract Theory, Vapo Reeves, KremmySix and of course PGEnt’s CPx3 and more. We had the opportunity to see a lot of new talented up and coming artists in the city and entrepreneurs who specialized in event curating, web design and more. We were able to connect and educate these individuals on the many services that we as PGEnt provide such as photography, videography, graphic design and promotion.
